Hi All,

It was great seeing so many of my old gal pals and buddies at the 2001 mega reunion.  I look forward to the next mega reunion in 2011.  It will be here before we know it!!

I am remarried and have three sons, Isaac (25), Bryan (23) and Greg (21).  Slowly but surely they're all scraping their way through college.  I am also a new grandma.  My son Bryan and his fiancee have a boy, Ronan, who was just born in April.  I call my grandson my "hunk of love."

Although I didn't plan any of my boys, I am glad that I had them early in life.  I'm only 46 but I'm tired after I get home from work!!  I had some college under my belt by the time I had Isaac.  So after I had completed my family with Greg, I went back and finished up my AA degree at San Jose City College.

After my AA degree, life took a 180 degree turn for us and we moved to southern California in 1993.  When Greg began high school I decided to begin working on my Bachelor's Degree in Human Services at the University of Phoenix.  While I was working on my undergrad, I did an internship and became a Family Conflict Mediator.  I fell in love with mediation and went on to Cal State Dominguez Hills and received a Master's Degree in Negotiation, Conflict Resolution and Peacebuilding.  Six years later and I'm still volunteering as a mediator for my old internship agency.

While I had the boys I always worked as an Admin/Exec. Asst to support them and last fall I finally got a career started with my MA degree.  I'm now working as an HR Specialist with the Dept of Veteran's Affairs here in Long Beach, CA.

My husband, Oscar, is semi-retired.  He and I spend our spare time going to movies, hanging out with friends and serving at our church.  We also like to travel, and in addition to taking weekend getaways, we recently bought into a timeshare which allows us to take one nice, week-long vacation each year.  Last year we went to the Bahamas, this  year we are going to Cabo San Lucas, and next year, Lord willing, we will be going on a cruise to Alaska.  We hope to be able to celebrate our 10-year anniversary in Rome in 2010.

Send me a note when you can!!

I have been living in No. CA for 13 years after having lived in TX, KY and Germany.  I've had a lot of wonderful experiences and have made many good memories.  I finally attended my first reunion last year and truly regret having missed the Mega I've heard so many great things about.  I am looking forward to the reunion in 2011.  Well wishes everyone!
